Oh my gosh, that pot is beautiful!
Definitely a thumbs up on the pottery. It is lovely. I like rambling, so you feel better, and ramble anytime. If ramble means to “explore idly”, then how wonderful to take a ramble on a podcast.
Oh, your batik stars quilt will look beautiful on the wall behind that pot!
Hope you’re feeling better.
Your mentioning your new research on the Appalachians reminded me of something I’ve meant to comment on a couple of times, when you were asking for book recs. Have you read any of Lee Smith’s books? I have several audiobooks from back when I had an Audible subscription, and really loved her “voice”, characters and stories.
I like it!
What a beautiful bowl– do you have any contact info for the potter?
i nevermind your off topic rambles, esp since you got me reading Kate Morton. I LOVED House at Riverton, and have another of hers on hold at the library. You have also gotten me inspired to use batiks which I had never used before ( ive just been quilting less than a year) so I love your podcast and will listen to all you have to say 🙂
