Block work
Here’s the block I made for my local MQG challenge:
And here’s the first block from the Patches of Blue Quilt Along that my mom and I are doing together (please note how blunted most of my points are–arrggghh!):

Big news about a new project: I’m doing an interview web show with the Quilt Alliance, and my first interview–with the fab Victoria Findlay Wolfe!–and it’s available to watch for free. We’ve got more interviews planned, but to view those, you’ll have to become a member of the QA (a worthy cause indeed!). Check out me and V here:
Congrats to Margaret and Carmit, winners of the Margaret Goes Modern giveaway!
Frances … Edyta mentioned on THE QUILT SHOW that even her husband forgets how to say her name correctly so you are in good company.
That guild block looks intense! How big is it? So many little pieces!
Great podcast. Love your challenge block and enjoyed your interview with Victiria Findlay Wolfe. I was lucky to take a workshop with her last June and she is an amazing teacher. So inspiring.
Loving those blocks Frances! I have heard Edyta pronounced 2 ways: Ed eh ta (starts off like a man’s name Ed). I’ve also heard people pronounce it like Anita but with “Ed” at the beginning instead of “An” with the emphasis on the E. Kind of sounds like Adias as in shoes! I saw her speak at a quilt festival last year and she was introduced as Ed eh ta. So I suppose that’s correct!!
