I mention Samin Nasrit in this episode–totally mangled her name, btw! But she’s great, and here’s her roasted chicken recipe: https://www.saltfatacidheat.com/buttermilkmarinated-roast-chicken/

  1. Listened to the podcast … loved it as usual

I no longer buy quilt magazines as I get them from the free table at the guild… read it then pass it on again. I think I have read every QUILTER NEWSLETTER since publication … Quilt magazines bore me now a days … Do not like quilts that highlight a collection of fabric … all from the same line … I think they are boring. Stopped spending money on them … maybe that is why so many magazines are folding.

When I bought fabric I never paid attention to the designers I just would buy what I liked … I am not using those fabrics in my quilt… I can sew for the rest of my life and will never use up the fabric.

Could not hear your dog snore … just your comments about him … maybe I am going deaf …
    .
Like your coin quilt … doing something similar for a donation quilt … this type of quilt made a great group quilt.
